2. User Conduct

• Students must join online classes or computer laboratory sessions on time and comply with classroom rules.
• Mandatory camera use is required during sessions unless a valid reason (technical issue or health concern) is provided and approved by the instructor.
• Users are strictly prohibited from opening unauthorized tabs, applications, or engaging in unrelated activities while classes are ongoing.
• Respectful communication and professional conduct are expected at all times.

3. Privacy and Data Security

• Interskwela may collect user information (name, email, login data, and activity logs) for class monitoring and participation purposes.
• Any recorded sessions are for academic and administrative use only and will not be distributed without consent.
• All personal data will be stored securely and managed in compliance with applicable data privacy laws.

4. Safety Measures

• The system monitors active participation and detects unauthorized activities (e.g., tab switching, multitasking).
• Teachers may exercise limited control features to maintain discipline and guide students during online sessions.
• Any misuse of the platform (e.g., inappropriate video content, disruptive behavior, or bypassing restrictions) will be subject to disciplinary action under institutional guidelines.

5. Accountability

• Students are accountable for following system rules and ensuring their learning environment is distraction-free.
• Teachers are responsible for enforcing classroom policies fairly and ensuring that monitoring tools are used solely for educational purposes.

6. Consent

By using Interskwela in online classes or computer laboratory sessions, users agree to abide by these Policy and Safety Guidelines to maintain a secure, productive, and collaborative learning experience.

7. Required Device Permissions & System Capabilities

• Camera & Microphone: Required for live video conferencing and face-detection features to ensure students remain present and focused.
• System Capabilities & Monitoring: The application tracks active window focus, running applications, and tab switching strictly during active sessions to enforce assessments and maintain academic integrity.
• Local Storage Access: The app only accesses specific files explicitly selected by the user (such as uploading assignments) or directories used to save downloaded learning materials. It DOES NOT independently scan, extract, or browse your personal files.

8. Agreement to Active Monitoring

By logging in and joining an ongoing session, users explicitly agree to the continuous monitoring of their device activity, camera feed, and on-screen applications for the duration of the class. This data is processed strictly in real-time for educational integrity and is not permanently stored unless specifically recorded by the instructor for administrative records.
